Outreach International is committed to ending chronic poverty worldwide. We’re awesome at it.
We’ve provided sustainable solutions to end poverty around the world for almost 40 years. Our key investment is in the people themselves – women, men, and children with stunning resilience, untapped intelligence, inherent creativity, and undeniable dignity. We work with communities to create lasting solutions to poverty, and our results are as transformative as they are permanent.
The Outreach Process is innovative, nimble, and proven, as our community partners conceive of, prioritize, then execute their own projects to lift themselves out of poverty and build a happier, healthier, more hopeful life on foundations that grow stronger with each new success.

Every year, Outreach's work yields more inspiring results around the world, as we continue to refine, improve and apply our expertise and experience, ensuring the best is always yet to come. 51,749 people are currently benefitting from our work in eight countries, which boast 145 communities working together on 397 projects and issues including:
* 4,633 children are accessing education from schools supported in Haiti and India
* 21 treadle pumps in Zambia are benefitting 450 people in three communities
* Between 2012 and 2016, 2,989 livestock vaccinations were administered in India, reducing mortality rates by 7 percent
* 2,400 pounds of beans have been distributed to 288 beneficiaries in four communities in Nicaragua, addressing food insecurity and hunger
* 618 bags of rice, totaling 68,123 pounds, were distributed to families in 12 communities in the Philippines
We never stop -- so long as deep, chronic poverty exists anywhere, it's our mission to address and eliminate it.

“Superflour” – a simple, inexpensive, nutritious meal made with adaptable ingredients to suit nearly any climate’s available resources – has proven so successful, the results can often legitimately be called “miraculous.”
Outreach Zambia community partners Dickson and Florence worried about their son Richard’s health until an Outreach-sponsored feeding program introduced superflour. “By 3, Richard was unable to walk,” said Florence. “Sometimes, I was reluctant to take him to the feeding, because I did not believe superflour would help malnourished children. Then, after feeding him [superflour] four times a week for three months, Richard started to walk.” Dickson added that, before superflour, “We were completely ignorant on how best we can feed our children and ourselves. We thought that ‘eating well’ meant beef, chicken, and sausage. We are so happy we can come up with a food like superflour with grains we grow locally."

Your support is what powers our passion, and drives our success. For really real.
So: Sign up for our email series. WE PROMISE that an incredible amount of thought goes into every single email we send, so we’re not going to fill your inbox with constant nonsense. You’ll learn about our work, get occasional updates from the field, be charmingly notified of campaign kickoffs, receive round-ups of success stories fresh out of the oven, and so, so many puns.
We’re not lazy about puns, either. Dads from around the world look to us for inspiration when they need to make an expert pun to really cement a joke that will irritate their teenage children. You’ll love them, because they’re always great.
Outreach works tirelessly to build a happier, healthier world, and we’d love to share news of (and credit for) our success with you.

Funding Needs
Gifts to Outreach International support projects to empower and equip our partners with the tools and training they need to forge their own path out of poverty.
* Drilling water wells for communities that have limited or no access to clean, safe water, as well as training community members how to maintain their well to ensure self-sufficiency, should repairs ever become necessary.
* Short-term, low-interest, community-managed loans to enable our partners to purchase income-generating livestock, increase crop yield through improved farming practices, pave roads to make travel safe and simple into and out of otherwise-isolated communities, fund medical clinics, and on and on and on.
* Literally dozens of other community-run projects and programs that build valuable personal, professional, and technical skills, keep people healthy and active, and demonstrate through teamwork and trust that a life beyond poverty is possible, probable, and permanent.
